In last year?s playoffs, Joe Torre infamously batted Alex Rodriguez eighth in Game 4 of the ALDS against the Detroit Tigers.

Alex Rodriguez batted fourth against the Indians on Monday night and while he hit a solo homerun, the result was still a loss for the Yankees.

Torre may not be back with the Yankees next season, so how would his status affect the future of Rodriguez in New York?

"Joe and I, we've had a funny relationship,? said Rodriguez after Monday?s elimination. ?We've come full circle. I have the utmost respect for that man in there. I feel bad because I feel like we let him down, as well as the city of New York."
