Curt Schilling will pitch for Boston in the second game of the ALCS against Cleveland, following Josh Beckett in the rotation and moving ahead of Daisuke Matsuzaka.

Beckett, who pitched a four-hit shutout in the opener of the first round series against the Angels, will start Friday's opener against the Indians. Schilling will start Game 2 on Saturday, in part on the strength of his seven shutout innings that helped Boston complete the three-game sweep of the Angels.

Matsuzaka would be in line for Game 3 in Cleveland, followed by Tim Wakefield.
