According to some people in the Twins' organization, there is interest in Barry Bonds and what he possibly could do to bolster a lineup that's in desperate need of more power.

This past season, the club got just 58 runs from the DH spot, the fewest in the American League, and the 10 home runs in the spot ranked the second fewest for an AL team.
