Expect to see some changes in that lineup for tonight's do-or-die Game 3. "We'll look and see what we're going to do," manager Joe Torre said. "We'll look at matchups and stuff, but we'll probably shake it up a little bit." Torre hinted that Jason Giambi, who has only one pinch-hit at-bat in the series so far, could start tonight, either at first base or as the designated hitter. "I'm just thinking about getting his bat in there and the fact of what he brings to the table," Torre said of Giambi, who has a .326 average in 27 career Division Series games. "Just because he hasn't played doesn't mean we necessarily ignore what he can do for us." |
