Ryan Howard is on pace to set the major league record for strikeouts in a season. Howard has 151 strikeouts in 109 games. He was 1-for-4 with two RBIs but didn't strike out in Philadelphia's 14-3 loss to San Diego on Friday night.
At this rate, Howard would finish with 199 Ks. Adam Dunn set the record by striking out 195 times for Cincinnati in 2004.
