Giants slugger Barry Bonds hit his 761st home run on Friday night, a towering shot off Milwaukee's Chris Capuano that bounced on the boardwalk before splashing into McCovey Cove.

Bonds knew it was gone the moment he connected with Capuano's 2-0 pitch. He let go of the bat, raised his arms and watched the ball disappear before trotting around the bases to a standing ovation.
