The OPS statistic is an excellent indicator of offensive production, so it is little surprise that the Yankees, Phillies and Tigers are all over .800 as a club.

1. New York Yankees: .832

Alex Rodriguez leads the AL with an OPS of 1.034, while Jorge Posada is fifth.

2. Philadelphia Phillies: .810

Chase Utley is just a hair shy of 1.000, while Ryan Howard is posting a .946 OPS.

3. Detroit Tigers: .802

Magglio Ordonez has an OPS of 1.008 to go along with his league-best .351 batting average.
