Giants right-hander Russ Ortiz's arm is ailing again.

Ortiz left Monday's game against the Marlins in the fifth inning with a strained elbow, and he's scheduled to undergo an MRI exam Tuesday. He was making his third start after missing two months with a strained right forearm. He also spent time on the disabled list in May because of nerve irritation in his elbow.
