Jermaine Dye ended free agency speculation when he signed a two-year, $22 million contract extension with the White Sox Saturday.
The 33-year-old will receive $9.5 million in 2008 and $11.5 million the following season, the White Sox said on their official website.
The deal includes a mutual option of $12 million in salary for 2010 or a $1 million buyout.
