Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost is not one to announce he is contemplating a change in starting pitchers until the schedule forces his hand.

But it was quite evident after yet another Chris Capuano meltdown Tuesday night that Yost is running out of reasons to give him the ball again.

The Brewers dropped to 0-15 in Capuano's last 15 starts with a discouraging 12-4 loss at Miller Park to the surging St. Louis Cardinals, who have made the National League Central a three-horse race.

The 15 consecutive losses represent the longest skid in club history behind one pitcher. The Brewers dropped 14 in a row behind the redoubtable Steve Woodard in 1999-2000.
