The Tigers on Tuesday agreed to terms with righthander Rick Porcello, their 2007 first-round draft pick, according to a report on the Detroit News' web site.

According to the newspaper, Porcello, who signed a letter of intent with UNC, will forego college and sign a four-year, $7.28 million contract before Wednesday's deadline to sign top draft picks.
