General manager Jim Hendry scoffed at rumors the Cubs are trying to acquire White Sox outfielder Scott Podsednik in a waiver trade. ''I haven't talked to Kenny in a couple of weeks,'' said Hendry, referring to Sox GM Ken Williams.
