Cubs left fielder Alfonso Soriano had to leave Sunday night's game against the Mets after pulling up lame as he tried to run from first to third on a single.
The team said it was a strained right quadriceps. Soriano left the game and was replaced in left field by Cliff Floyd, who had been playing right. Mark DeRosa went from second base to right and Mike Fontenot entered the game at second.
