The Tigers on Saturday placed left-hander Andrew Miller on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring. Miller left Friday's start against Chicago after four innings with the injury. When asked Saturday if the strain was more severe than initially thought, manager Jim Leyland replied, "Evidently." Leyland isn't sure when Miller will return, or who will start in his place Wednesday against Tampa Bay. "I have no clue who's pitching Wednesday -- or some other games, to be honest with you," Leyland said. "We're in a little bit of chaos right now." Leyland is reluctant to use relievers as spot starters, but, given the team's current state, it's hard to predict what will happen. Triple-A Toledo right-handers Yorman Bazardo and Virgil Vasquez are the most obvious candidates.
