Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees held their own home run derby Sunday.

Rodriguez, Hideki Matsui and Robinson Cano hit three-run homers and the Yankees hammered their way into the All-Star break, routing the Angels 12-0.

Rodriguez leads the majors with 30 home runs and 86 RBIs. Still recovering from a strained left hamstring, he'll sit out Monday's Home Run Derby in San Francisco but play in the All-Star game the next night.

"I'm never satisfied," he said. "There's always a lot of room for improvement."
