Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 582nd career home run and 19th of the season Tuesday night, a solo shot off Oakland starter Chad Gaudin that gave the slugger 1,652 career RBIs.

His latest RBI tied him with Tony Perez for 18th place on the all-time list, and it also was his 500th RBI in eight seasons with the Reds.
