Bobby Livingston was in the mood to brag.

Not over his first major league victory or his first career hit, but about Ken Griffey Jr.

Griffey hit career home run No. 575 and Livingston allowed seven hits in 6 2/3 innings as the Reds beat the Rockies 4-2 on Friday night.

"Pretty awesome when Ken Griffey hits a home run," Livingston said. "He's phenomenal."
