Wily Mo Pe?a had a tough night at Fenway on Friday.

After Pe?a let Melvin Mora's line drive get by him, he then lost Jay Gibbons's shot in the lights for an error.

Pe?a entered the game hot at the plate, hitting .636 (7 for 11, 1 HR, 4 RBIs) over his previous three starts. But Pe?a ended up going 0 for 3.

It's nights like this that make Boston writers ask whether the Red Sox should send the big man packing.
