Everyone has an opinion about Barry Bonds. Red Sox manager Terry Francona wants his players not to express theirs so much. A day after Curt Schilling and David Ortiz gave interviews in which they talked about the Giants slugger, Francona discussed their comments on his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI's "Dennis and Callahan" show on Wednesday. "When I got my 11th e-mail, my buzzer was going off on my phone, and I finally got on and checked it and realized that for a guy that doesn't talk much to the media, he sure does talk to the media," Francona said about Schilling. When asked if he would suggest his players "just kind of dance around" the subject of Bonds, Francona said: "Or shut up." |
