Sunday will mark the end of the Giants' four-game series against the Phillies and the beginning of Tim Lincecum's career.

Lincecum will make his Major League debut against the Phillies, and the whole world will be watching on ESPN. With the start, Lincecum becomes only the fourth player in the 2006 draft class to spend time in the Majors.

Lincecum is taking the mound in place of the Giants' usual fifth starter, Russ Ortiz, who went on the 15-day disabled list on Thursday with right elbow neuritis. Lincecum will start opposite left-hander Cole Hamels, who will be facing the Giants for the first time.
