The Reds recalled infielder Jeff Keppinger from his rehabilitation assignment, reinstated him from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.

Keppinger had been on the disabled list since April 1 because of a right ring finger that was broken March 4, when he was hit by a pitch from Pittsburgh's Allan Simpson.
