Barry Bonds hit his 738th career home run Wednesday night, a solo shot in the eighth inning against the Cardinals that tied the game at 5. The 42-year-old San Francisco slugger moved within 18 homers of breaking Hank Aaron's all-time record of 755 with his fourth homer of the season. Rich Aurilla drove in Randy Winn in the bottom of the 12th inning to defeat the Cardinals 6-5. |
