The White Sox placed Scott Podsednik on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a pulled groin muscle and recalled Boone Logan from Triple-A Charlotte.

Podsednik had an MRI exam that revealed no tear. But trainer Herm Schneider said Podsednik has a moderate to severe strain and there is no timetable for his return.
