Rich Harden tossed six scoreless innings against the Yankees before leaving with tightness in his right shoulder in the seventh inning of the the Athletics' 5-4 victory over New York on Sunday.

The righthander felt discomfort for the entire inning and even threw a few warmup pitches in the middle of the frame in front of the trainer and manager Bob Geren. He decided to stay in but did not last long - yielding a double to the Yankees' Alex Rodriguez before departing.
