Eric Gagne is ready to pitch for the Rangers. Gagne will be activated from the disabled list on Friday, when the Rangers open up a three-game series with the Mariners at Safeco Field.

The Rangers have not announced a corresponding roster move, but are expected to put pitcher Jamey Wright on the disabled list. He has experienced some soreness in his right shoulder in his last two starts, one at Double-A Frisco and the other for the Rangers on Tuesday against the Devil Rays.
