Johnny Damon was back at the top of the New York Yankees lineup for Monday night's game at Minnesota after being slowed by a mildly strained right calf muscle.

Though Damon was a late-inning replacement in games Saturday and Sunday, the center fielder hadn't started since the season opener last Monday. He hasn't been on the disabled list in 12 years in the majors.
