Lastings Milledge was hit on the right hand by a pitch in the ninth inning. Milledge said the pain in the hand felt just as it did in 2004, when he was hit in the exact same spot, fracturing the hand and putting him out of action for seven weeks. Although Milledge was in great pain, X-rays were negative and the injury was described as a contusion. He will be shut down for at least a few games. Milledge is hitting .352. Shawn Green is batting .136, and the two figure to platoon in right.
