The Cubs have offered Carlos Zambrano $11.025 million in arbitration, about $4.4 million more than he made in '06, when he tied for the league lead in wins despite playing for the team with the league's worst record.
Zambrano is asking for $15.5 million, or an $8.85 million raise but probably would settle for around $13 million. If the two sides can't come to an agreement, a Feb. 20 arbitration hearing looms.
