Victor Zambrano is still a possibility for the Mets to re-sign, according to a person close to those negotiations, but nothing is expected to be finalized in the near future.

Zambrano, who has offers from other clubs on the table, is still recovering from surgery last May for a torn ligament in his right elbow.
