| 20th January, 2007 - 11:38 am | San Francisco Chronicle - Mark Sweeney declared on Friday that he has no idea who dragged his name into the amphetamine scandal but believes it was not Barry Bonds.
"It was basically something that never happened," Sweeney said. "My name somehow got linked to it, and it wasn't through Barry. I don't blame Barry for this. I don't know where it came from."
