The Blue Jays confirmed they hold at least some small interest in very well-seasoned left-hander David Wells.

Toronto general manager J.P. Ricciardi said, however, that talks with Wells' people have been "very, very limited ... not a lot of in-depth" and that, as far as unearthing additional pitching help, the Jays were likely headed to camp with what they've got.

"We've got a couple of things out there ... nothing earth-shattering," said Ricciardi. "But I think we're probably done."
