Newly acquired reliever Luis Vizcaino and the Yankees reached agreement Tuesday on a one-year contract worth $3 million before the sides exchanged salary arbitration figures.

The Diamondbacks traded Vizcaino and three minor leaguers to the Yankees this month for Randy Johnson.
