It has now been nearly six weeks since J.D. Drew agreed to a five-year, $70 million deal with the Red Sox.

The two sides are still hammering out the details of the contract language in regards to a potential shoulder problem.

His agent, Scott Boras, insists that he is healthy.

Theo Epstein said that he isn't concerned about the deal not becoming finalized.
