The Dodgers are close to signing Juan Pierre, according to Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.

Pierre is believed to be seeking $9M a season and his contract could be for as long as five years.

Pierre's signing could lead to Dave Roberts signing with the Giants, Brewers or Rangers.
