Tampa Bay hired Jim Hickey as pitching coach Saturday, replacing Mike Butcher, who left the Devil Rays for the same position with the Los Angeles Angels. Hickey, fired last month as Houston's pitching coach, spent the past 16 seasons working in the Astros organization.
