The Devil Rays released reliever Tyler Walker on Monday.

The right-hander, acquired from the Giants in a trade in April, missed much of the 2006 season after straining his right elbow in June and undergoing Tommy John surgery. He appeared in 20 games with Tampa Bay, going 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA and 10 saves.
