It is starting to sound like a broken record, but talk of an Alex Rodriguez trade out of New York will likely persist until he is actually dealt or he helps the Yankees win their first championship since 2000. "He's not going to go anywhere," Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said yesterday. "We're going to keep him, and we're going to win with him, and that's how it stands." A-Rod, who has a complete no-trade clause, repeatedly has said he wants to stay with the Yankees. Other executives told Cashman that they knew of his public vow not to trade Rodriguez, "but if you change your mind, I'm interested," Cashman quoted them as saying.
