The Washington Nationals have some payroll flexibiity, according to Mike Rizzo.

Last season's Opening Day payroll apparently isn't the ceiling for the club as they prepare for the 2015 campaign.

"There's nothing off the table, there's no restrictions," Rizzo said. "We're going to make good, prudent baseball moves ... regardless of payroll."

At the start of the 2014 season, ownership had indicated that the $136 million-plus budget was above where the organization wanted to be. Rizzo denied that assumption.
