The Atlanta Braves love Jason Heyward, but they don't expect to extend his contract as he approaches free agency following the 2015 season.

"My assumption is it's probably the wrong time," John Hart said.

Hart added that signing Heyward to a long-term deal as a free agent is certainly possible.
