Right-hander Curt Schilling isn't a guarantee to return to the Red Sox rotation before the All-Star break, manager Terry Francona said. "I've seen [July] 9 circulated and that's not coming from me," Francona told the Boston Herald. "He'll make his next start and then we'll re-evaluate. We want Schill to come back and be Schill." Schilling pitched five innings Wednesday night, allowing one run on five hits for Triple-A Pawtucket. His next start is scheduled for Monday in Pawtucket. "We want him to progress," the manager told the paper. "That's the big thing. We'll put our heads together and do the right thing."
