The Baltimore Orioles have made a qualifying offer to Nelson Cruz.

In his first season with the Orioles, Cruz hit .271/.333/.525. He led the Major Leagues with 40 home runs and posted a career-high 108 RBIs.

Cruz declined last year's qualifying offer from the Texas Rangers ($14.1 million) and this year's offer is for $15.3 million in 2015.

If Cruz rejects the offer, then the Orioles will receive a compensatory 2015 Draft pick between the first and second round (assuming the player signs elsewhere).
