The San Francisco Giants have repeatedly shown a willingness to pay big money in order to re-sign their most identifiable players.

Just last fall, they signed Hunter Pence to a five-year, $90 million contract and Tim Lincecum to a deal worth $35 million over two seasons.

San Francisco doesn't have an obvious replacement at third base within the organization, so it's hard to imagine they'll let Sandoval leave. The belief is that they'd give him a deal similar to what Pence received without blinking.
