There are strong indications that the New York Yankees have interest in re-signing Chase Headley.

The decision would appear to reveal New York's concerns about Alex Rodriguez playing third base full-time.

Headley has told people that he never would have envisioned he'd enjoy playing in New York before going there and actually enjoying it following his trade from the San Diego Padres.
