Jose Altuve surpassed Craig Biggio on Tuesday night, recording his club-record 211th hit of the season.

Altuve accomplished the feat with a single to center in the seventh inning.

"I have to go out there and play and finish the season strong," Altuve said. "We need to win a couple of more games to put ourselves in a good position, so it was good to get the 211th so people can stop talking about that and let's go out there and play."

Altuve, hitting .343, could become the first member of the Houston Astros to win a batting title.
