Homer Bailey won't pitch for the Cincinnati Reds again this season.

He was moved to the 60-day disabled list on Tuesday to make room on the 40-man roster for September call-ups.

Bailey has been on the disabled list since Aug. 16 with a flexor mass strain in his right arm.

Walt Jocketty said there has been no decision on whether or not Bailey will undergo surgery for the injury.

"Not yet, but probably we'll make a decision this week," Jocketty said. "We did determine that he shouldn't pitch the rest of the year."
