Bartolo Colon will remain with the New York Mets for the remainder of the season after Sunday's waiver deadline passed.

The Mets are expected to put the veteran right-hander on the market this winter.

Colon reportedly cleared waivers, making him available to be traded freely, but the Mets found minimal interest in Colon, who is due $11 million next season.

"I was a little surprised that there wasn't more activity," Terry Collins said. “But I'm happy he's still here."
