The Atlanta Braves may not have Jason Heyward in their long-term plans, which could lead to trade rumors.

The Boston Red Sox are in the market for an outfielder and if Giancarlo Stanton isn't available, Heyward is a likely target.

Heyward can become a free agent after the 2015 season and Atlanta made their feelings about his future known when they signed him for just $13.3 million over two seasons around the same time that they gave Freddie Freeman an eight-year, $135 million extension.

The Red Sox could complete a sign-and-trade with the Braves for a handful of prospects.
