The Los Angeles Dodgers will not be discussing a new contract with Hanley Ramirez until after the season, according to Stan Kasten.

Ramirez is currently on the disabled list with an oblique injury.

"Both sides have agreed we'll sit down and talk at the end of the season and decide," Kasten said. "As difficult a season as he's had physically, there is still lots of time for him to have an enormous impact for us."

Ramirez and the Dodgers discussed an extension at the beginning of the season, and Ramirez has voiced his desire to be a “Dodger for life."
