The Toronto Blue Jays have interest in and have been scouting Brandon Barnes.

It may make sense for the Colorado Rockies to deal Barnes with Michael Cuddyer on track to return in mid-August.

A source says the Blue Jays haven't made an offer for Barnes at this point.
