Byron Buxton collected three hits and scored a run Wednesday for Class A Advanced Fort Myers.

It was just Buxton's 11th game of the season as he has dealt with injuries since Spring Training. He is 8-for-39 with six runs and three RBIs.

Buxton's injury trouble began when he sprained his left wrist diving for a ball in March. He opened the season on the disabled list as he recovered from that injury and didn't make his debut until May 4. His return was short-lived, however, as he reinjured his wrist sliding into second base later that week.

He is in the Minnesota Twins system.
